Murder on the menu at Pollok
30/06/2009
The National Trust for Scotland’s Pollok House in Glasgow is serving up another taste of mystery this summer with its latest ‘whodunnit’.
From 1 July, visitors will be invited to solve the complex case of the recently deceased Sir Archie Collins. Sharp-eyed visitors will try to spot a series of clues as they tour the grand historic house, while also admiring its stunning interiors and fabulous art collections.

Property manager Joe Bowden said:

“Pollok’s murder mystery is always a popular event for visitors. We look forward to welcoming many thousands through the doors over the next few months as we try to crack this difficult case.”

The murder mystery trail will run daily until 31 August 2009. Normal admission prices apply.

Also returning this year, are Pollok’s popular after-dinner murder mysteries. Every Wednesday and Thursday evening during July and August, guests will sit down to dinner at 7.30pm to enjoy a delicious three-course meal prepared by the talented catering team at the National Trust for Scotland’s very popular Pollok House restaurant.

When the tables have been cleared, guests will take on the unpalatable task of solving a gruesome murder.

The event costs £30 per person. For more information, contact 0844 493 2202.
