Opportunities for adult learning in the National Trust for Scotland are varied and cover many different interests. You can attend events and workshops - or volunteer to work in Trust houses and gardens or in wild countryside places.
Perhaps you would like to book a working holiday at one of the Trust's beautiful heritage sites. You can help the Trust while learning new skills and meeting new people.
If you wish to find out more about the Trust - who we are, what we do and the principles behind our work - you can read the Trust's policies. Or, if you wish to learn about our conservation teams, there's plenty on the Trust website about how we conserve Scotland's built and natural heritage.
To discuss a work placement, as part of your professional development, please contact the appropriate department with full details of your background and requirements.
The Trust cares for over 100 historic sites, including cottages, mills, castles, gardens, country parks, islands and wild countryside. Many have international or national status - for instance, they are Grade I listed buildings or National Nature Reserves. If you would like to find out more about them, then go to Places to Visit.
