Dating from 1360, this enchanting castle with its picturesque walled garden was once home to the Earls of Kellie. Beautifully restored by the Lorimer family in the late 19th century, Kellie Castle is an outstanding venue for weddings, corporate entertaining and special family occasions.

Weddings at Kellie Castle
Located near the charming fishing village of Pittenweem, Kellie Castle is a romantic venue for civil, religious and humanist weddings.
Within the castle, ceremonies and drinks receptions for up to 70 guests can be held in the Great Hall, whilst the castle’s private chapel can accommodate intimate celebrations of up to 10 guests.
Before being seated to dinner, enjoy a relaxing stroll in the secluded grounds, with breathtaking views over the rolling fields to the Firth of Forth. Throughout spring and summer, the peaceful walled garden is perfect for photographs and alfresco drinks receptions, whilst for larger weddings a marquee can be erected on the south-facing lawns.
Corporate
Steeped in history, myth and legend, Kellie Castle is an atmospheric and stylish venue for corporate entertaining and events, only 9 miles from St Andrews and The Royal and Ancient Golf Club, one of the oldest and most prestigious golf clubs in the world.
Ideal for exclusive dinners and receptions, the Great Hall and elegant Dining Room are rich in artwork, tapestries and ornate plaster ceilings. Within the grounds, the organic walled garden makes a beautiful setting for alfresco drinks receptions, where guests can also tour the old stables and Hew Lorimer’s inspirational sculpture studio.
For larger events, a marquee can be erected on the south-facing lawn with the castle as a spectacular backdrop.

Situated off the B9171, 4 miles northwest of Anstruther, Kellie Castle is 9 miles south of St Andrews, 22 miles south of Dundee and 35 miles southeast of Perth. Edinburgh and Edinburgh International Airport are within 50 miles. The nearest railway stations are Cupar (12 miles) and Leuchars (14 miles).
