Completed in 1858, Holmwood is considered to be one of the finest domestic designs by the Scottish architect Alexander 'Greek' Thomson.

A classically inspired villa set in several hectares of landscaped grounds, this exquisite little gem, a few miles from Glasgow, offers an exclusive setting for intimate religious and humanist ceremonies, drinks receptions, private parties and gatherings. For larger wedding receptions and events, a marquee can be erected in the beautiful grounds.

Travelling to Holmwood

Holmwood is just off Clarkston Road, 4 miles south of Glasgow city centre, via the A77(M) and around 20 minutes drive from Glasgow International Airport (via the A726). Cathcart is the nearest railway station, with frequent services to and from Glasgow Central Station.
