Weddings at Culzean Castle
WEDDING OPEN DAY - Sunday 6 November 2016, 12noon-4pm
What could be more romantic than an idyllic Scottish castle with a colourful walled garden, breathtaking sea views and a grand oval staircase?
Begin the day with a Groom’s reception in the Armoury, surrounded by an impressive display of flintlock pistols and swords. Exchange your vows in the exquisite Round Drawing Room with its wonderful views, or on the Oval Staircase with its soaring columns and grand oil paintings. For intimate celebrations, ceremonies can also be held in the ornate Camellia House or historic Eisenhower.
Following your wedding breakfast in the Dining Room, guests can gather in the castle’s Georgian Kitchen for the evening dance. In Scotland, all good parties end up in the kitchen!
For larger wedding receptions, you can combine the castle with the estate’s Home Farm Restaurant. Alternatively, a marquee can be erected on the lawn with the castle’s cannons providing a focal point.
