After two years of major conservation work, Craigievar Castle re-opened to the public in spring 2010 and is now available for exclusive private hire.
Within easy reach of Aberdeen, this iconic 17th-century castle, often referred to as the most loved castle in Scotland, is ideal for intimate gatherings and celebrations.
Surrounded by extensive parkland and open woodland, Craigievar is ideal for civil, religious and humanist weddings. Private tours of the castle and gardens are also available by prior arrangement.
For larger wedding receptions and events, a marquee can be erected on the castle lawn.
