Brodick Castle, Garden & Country Park

Celebrate in style at a quintessential island castle
A view of Brodick Castle from the entrance gate, on a bright sunny day with blue sky above. Tall green trees stand either side of the path that leads to the castle. On the right is a bed of established shrubs, many in flower.

Set against the towering peak of Goat Fell on the edge of Arran’s highlands and surrounded by almost 3,000 hectares of gardens, country park and dramatic scenery, Brodick Castle is an idyllic island destination for intimate weddings, family gatherings, private parties and corporate events.

The ancient seat of the Dukes of Hamilton and home to the Duke and Duchess of Montrose until 1957, the castle has a history that spans over 800 years. The very picture of a Victorian Highland estate, Brodick Castle combines elegant interiors, magnificent formal gardens and manicured terraced lawns, with wildflower meadows, woodland trails and tumbling waterfalls. The colourful gardens are perfect for summer events and alfresco celebrations.

Arran is known as ‘Scotland in miniature’. Whether you’re visiting for a day, weekend or week, there’s a rich variety of accommodation, activities and attractions across the island, all within easy reach of Brodick Castle.
