Weddings at Brodick Castle
Within the castle, civil, religious and humanist ceremonies are held in the magnificent Drawing Room, famed for its intricate plasterwork ceiling depicting the heraldic story of the Hamilton family, from the marriage of Mary Stewart, daughter of James II, to Lord James Hamilton, up until the marriage of Princess Marie of Baden and the Marquis of Douglas and Clydesdale. With wonderful views across Brodick Bay to the Ayrshire coast, the south-facing Drawing Room is ideal for intimate celebrations.
With three national collections of rhododendron offering colour and fragrance throughout the year, Brodick's romantic gardens are a picturesque setting for wedding photography, alfresco receptions and ceremonies. For larger gatherings a marquee can be erected on the south-facing lawn, with the castle forming a spectacular backdrop.
Corporate
An intimate venue, the castle is ideal for private receptions and special events. Whether you are treating your guests to an exclusive tutored whisky tasting by Arran Distillery or an atmospheric behind-the-scenes ghost tour, you are guaranteed an unforgettable experience.
The rich and colourful gardens are perfect for summer events and alfresco celebrations. For maximum versatility, a marquee can be erected on the south-facing lawn.
