National Trust for Scotland`s gardens are continually changing throughout the seasons with different parts of the garden coming into their prime at different times of the year. Find out the best time to see the different plants and garden themes, and which gardens provide good examples of these, by clicking on one of the seasons below:

  • Spring - Mid-March to Mid-June
  • Summer - Mid-June to Mid-September
  • Autumn - Mid-September to Mid-December
  • Winter - Mid-December to Mid-March

You may also want to come along to one of our Plant Days where attention is focused on one particular type of plant, such as daffodils in the spring and roses in the summer.
