Wondering how to entertain the kids? Why not bring them along to one of the many activities organised specially for children. From Teddy Bears` Picnics to workshops, story telling and garden tours for kids -don`t forget that there are larger `family fun` events too!

See below for just a sample of the events we have arranged to amuse our younger visitors.

  • Kids @ Crathes Castle
  • Family fun and frolics on the front lawn at Drum Castle
  • Teddy Bears Picnic at House of Dun and Drum Castle
  • Terrific Trees Kids Walk at Crathes Castle
  • Meet Noddy and Friends at Castle Fraser
  • Minibeast Magic at House of the Binns
  • Many of our gardens hosted a Mystery Trail as part of our National Diamond Trail to help celebrate our 60 years of NTS gardens
