  • No. 28 Charlotte Square
Charlotte Square was conceived by Robert Adam as a paradigm of the Georgian ideal in the centre of Edinburgh. The townhouse at number 28 has been beautifully restored and is now the head office of The National Trust for Scotland.

  • Royal Burgh of Culross
Everywhere you look in Culross you're surrounded by the past - a complete community preserved as it was in the 16th and 17th-centuries. This picturesque Royal Burgh is situated on the northern shore of the Forth, only 15 miles from Edinburgh Airport.

  • Falkland Palace
For centuries Falkland Palace, just 40 miles from Edinburgh, lay at the very heart of Scotland's history. Kings and Queens of the Stuart dynasty relaxed in its beautiful grounds, away from the cares of state.

  • Hill of Tarvit
Only 12 miles from St Andrews, Hill of Tarvit Mansionhouse is home to an outstanding collection of European paintings, furniture and tapestries, and is perhaps the finest Edwardian mansion in Scotland.

  • Kellie Castle
Located just 10 miles from St Andrews, Kellie Castle is a delightful gabled 14th-century home. Set in gardens bursting with colour, this is a castle sprung from the pages of history.
