    Someone knew that Colonel Cockburn always licked the end of his pencil when writing. That’s how he got poisoned! There are just too many suspects – that’s why Chief Constable Sir Robert Ferguson has asked Chief Inspector Bowden to investigate.

    Discover what life for Robert the Bruce was really like!

    Learn about medieval society and find out how people of the era lived and fought for independence. Examine replica medieval clothing, armour, weaponry and siege equipment.

    Interview a medieval knight or foot soldier from the time, or come face-to-face with Robert the Bruce.

    Let one of our experienced costumed guides escort you around the Borestone and explain the events of the Battle of Bannockburn.

    Special events include a chance to meet the experts - chat to our resident Medieval historian and author Dr Chris Brown (dates to be confirmed).

    Please note that activities vary daily.
