Five Sisters of Kintail guided walkJoin the National Trust for Scotland ranger on one of Scotland's finest hill walks over the magnificent Five Sisters of Kintail ridge. This is a strenuous walk over challenging terrain but one that offers unsurpassed views over the North West Highlands and coast. A good level of fitness is essential as you'll take in 4 peaks over 3,000 feet, including 3 Munros. Look out for wildlife including ptarmigan, golden eagles and red deer, and learn about the National Trust for Scotland's work managing this landscape. Participants must have hill walking boots and waterproof clothing and be prepared for the more extreme weather of our mountain tops to come on the walk. The meet point is the National Trust for Scotland ranger office at Morvich and transport is provided from there to the start of the walk. Pick-up and drop-off elsewhere locally can also be arranged. The walk takes 7 to 10 hours depending on individual fitness. Contact the rangers directly by emailing Kintail or calling 01599 511231 for more information.
