Black Grouse on Arran
We were thrilled to receive a donation from Miss Hoey from Brighton who wanted to support our Black Grouse project on Arran.
As a direct result of her generous gift we were able to buy another breeding pair of Black Grouse.
The Trust is working with the local community through the Arran Black Grouse Group to reintroduce this iconic bird.
Fun and games at Brodie Castle
A new Play Area opens Saturday 5th May at Brodie Castle near Forres thanks to a generous gift from Mr & Mrs Budge, whose roots are in the Moray area. Keen to enhance the castle facilities for families, The Budge Trust has awarded over £80,000 for its construction and ongoing maintenance.

Support for Scotland's mountains
Our friends at the Scottish Mountaineering Trust have donated £30,000 to support the Footpath Fund, which is dedicated to upland path repair.
This will support our Mountains for People conservation project and this year the team will tackle the Three Beinns route on Arran, the Mullach an Rathain path at Torridon and the Coire nan Lochan path at Glencoe.
Fast Fundraising
From its launch in November 2011, the ‘I’m in for the future’ Fund raised £110,000 in just 4 weeks. The grand total now stands at £140,000!
We’re extremely grateful of any donation, but the ‘I’m in for the future’ Fund is important because it allows us to respond to any area of the Trust that is in need.
People sometimes forget that we're a charity. The truth is, without your support we simply cannot afford to protect everything in our care.
Donate online now to protect Scotland's heritage for our children and
grandchildren to enjoy.
We can't do it without you.
