Culloden picture sequence
These photographs were taken during the shooting of the film in the Visitor Centre. Some pupils may identify more closely with photographs than with drawings or contemporary sketches; however, for some pupils it may be necessary to stress that this is a photograph of a re-enactment, rather than of the actual battle.

Again, this sequence could be used to teach about the events of the battle, or for pupils to re-tell the events themselves. Individual pictures could also provide a stimulus for imaginative writing or drama work.
