The National Trust for Scotland invites you to join us on Saturday 17 September for the 2016 Crathes Half Marathon sponsored by Aker Solutions.
Starting beside the fairytale-like Crathes Castle the route takes you out onto the country roads to the north and east of the estate grounds. You head out towards the estate of fellow NTS property, Drum Castle, eventually turning and heading back in a loop back towards Crathes and finishing in front of the castle.
Most of the route is on quiet, tarmac covered roads and there are also a couple of level, off-road farm track sections for a bit of variety.
The race will start at 12pm with registration open from 10.15am to 11.30am. Runners must be 18 or older to enter.
The Crathes Half Marathon will offer competitors a good Personal Best opportunity and all finishers will receive a medal and technical T-shirt. Runners and spectators alike will have an enjoyable and fun-filled day out, and the £26* competitor entry fee will help support the valuable conservation work of the NTS.
*£1.50 booking fee will be added at check-out
