Collections, Archives & Library Services
The Collections, Archives and Library Services covers a wide range of activities including the display and research of objects in historic interiors, preserving records in all formats and the care and development of the photographic library. Our department is responsible for recording, managing and displaying a vast range of material from historic teapots to photographic tintypes and committee minutes to commodes. This covers hundreds of thousands of records, photographs and objects kept across the length and breadth of the country and touching upon every area of activity in the National Trust for Scotland.
The team comprises of seven members of staff led by the Head of Collections and consists of:
- Three Curators
- Registrar
- Archivist
- Photo Librarian
