The Trust's Annual General Meeting will be held at Aberdeen Exhibition Centre on 27 September 2008, starting at 11.15am. The AGM is an ideal opportunity for Trust members to hear first hand about the charity's work and developments.

It's also your chance to ask questions and talk to Chairman Shonaig Macpherson and others involved in the Trust's important conservation work.

Also available to download are the Advanced booking form, Weekend events for delegates and the map for AECC.

The Trust's 2007 AGM was held on 29 September at Culloden Academy. Attended by over 100 members, the AGM received excellent presentations from Hugh Cheape, Vice President, on Canna and from Martin Gostwick, Property Manager, on Hugh Miller's House in addition to dealing with the more formal business usually associated with an AGM. The formal business of the meeting as set out in the Notice of the Meeting was approved by the AGM, including the Accounts to 28 February 2007 and the Ordinary Member Subscription Rate for 2008. Two new Vice Presidents were appointed, Mrs June Baxter and Sir William Purves.

Ten new members were elected to Council, being: Marjorie Connell, Angus Findlay, Jenny Harper, Alexander Jamieson, Sandy Macpherson, Robert Mckean, Finlay McKichan, Mike Robinson, David Wild and Jennifer Sharp.

We all look forward to working with them in their new roles.

An exhibition was available for members to visit that showcased a broad range of the work of the Trust including book binding, printing and gardens. There was also the opportunity to stock up on Christmas Cards and prints from the recent exhibition at Wemyss House on Canna.

In the afternoon, members were given an early preview of the new Visitors Centre at Culloden.
